Billbreaker is a telecommunications cost comparison service. We save our users time and money by providing cost and plan comparisons in an easy to use website. Comparisons are based on a 100% re-rating or recalculation of your actual billing data / call and usage profile.
The Telcos provide us with the plan information. You provide us with your bills or billing data. We are able to extract all of your billing data and, once in our system, enable you to select plans from the marketplace so you can see for yourself the costs or benefits. We then change the balance of power in making a Telco purchase. Instead of you having to go to them, we work towards making the Telco come to you, or at least be prepared for your arrival. Once you have decided on your chosen plan, you can then fill in your details and the Telco will contact you to deliver you than appropriate plan and handset you have selected.
As you are no doubt aware, there is a significant amount of time and effort required to make accurate Telco comparisons and keep up to date with all the market data. To do this job properly, and represent you properly (i.e. not rely on a churn or sale) and thus remain independent, means that Billbreaker becomes a professional service for value. We accordingly have a pricing structure for our analysis, but it provides all users with the right answers with a minimum of fuss and will no doubt deliver a return on your investment in a very short space of time. Ask yourself whether you can do it yourself correctly for the same cost, or whether you would get it right. Ask yourself too, what is the cost of getting it wrong, or giving it so someone with a hidden agenda (perhaps those that do it for free)?
The experts agree that there is only one way to determine whether any plan will save you money or cost you money. That is, you need to work with all your billing data and call patters. Once you have all this data you need to be able to compare the multitude of plans in the market place and understand all of the complex billing permutations. For one phone, with even a small level of calls, this will take hours. Those that do it for free don’t work with all your billing data, or they make assumptions about your call profile, or they have to sell you something at the end of the process to pay for their time in doing a free analysis – this is an unbiased or inaccurate approach. If you want an independent answer, accurately produced using all your billing data, compared to as many market plans as you want, and don’t want to be pressured into a sale you either do it yourself or Billbreaker is your only option. If you do it yourself and get it slightly wrong, how much extra will you pay?
We charge our customers for extracting the data and putting it into the website so comparisons can be made. Some Telco’s may pay us a referral fee for a sale that originates from our site. You will pay the same price for your Telco plan whether you apply through Billbreaker or direct to the provider. In fact, in some cases we offer better deals than you could get by applying directly.
